A letter written by one of Riza Quli Khan Salar Mu‘azzam's children, in which the writer explains the reason for the delay in writing and informs Riza Quli Khan of the wellbeing of his sisters and Mirza Mahmud Khan [his brother]. He also reports on the incidents in Tehran: the businessmen of the bazaar next to the embassy's sit-in protesting to the rejection of the assembly's bylaws, the arrival of ‘Ayn al-Dawlah, and the confirmation of the bylaws and the return of the people.

ʻAziz al-Saltanah's petition to Nayib al-Saltanah
Petition from ʻAziz al-Saltanah, Nasir al-Din Shah's daughter, to Nayib al-Saltanah in which she mentions her having been born shortly after her father was killed, how she had lived all her life with her mother [Mahbub al-Saltanah] and that she had not inherited anything from her father. After the Constitutional Revolution, the Majlis had cut her pension to 1000 tumans. About selling ‘Ala’ al-Saltanah's female slave, 1909
Published in issue no. 45: ‘Ala’ al-Saltanah’s female slave was given to Haji Mirza Aqa Bardah-furush (slave seller) to be sold in the bazaar. She had fled but later was captured by police and given back to Haji Mirza Aqa; issue no. 46: three woman have stepped in to raise money for the slave’s freedom; issue no. 47: ‘Ali Muhammad Khan, ‘Ala’ al-Saltanah’s agent, comes to the office of Iran-i naw and states that the female slave, named Ziba, actually belonged to ‘Ala’ al-Saltanah’s wife, ‘Azimat al-Dawlah, who had granted her freedom a few days earlier. ‘Ali Muhammad Khan holds her letter...
